She is not the only cold fish.
I have another ex-colleague who told a fellow workmate not to bother greeting him in the train or anywhere in the early morning, on the way to work. He would be grumpy and wanted his own private time sulking, therefore not in his brightest mood to acknowledge anyone. These two English are just about every other English living in London. Why?! Perhaps it's far harder to smile and lighten up in the morning, in the public beyond your pajamas in a bloody small house. Perhaps it's easier to stay sulking and demand the public give you privacy. Damn right, on a bloody crowded platform elbowing each other to ensure getting into the train and then smelling each other's breath and pressing against each other.
Come on people. Come on moi. Smile, lighten up and not sulk.
